The main objective of the project was to restore the biological treatment at the Montréal Refinery in order not to exceed the BOD5 limits and to maintain the ISO14001 certification. The project consists in the installation of a new concrete basin, which serves as a bioreactor, air agitation blowers including new shelter, phosphoric acid injection module, piping modifications, electricity and instrumentation.
