Sandra Mignacca

Empathetic and serene, Sandra breaks down barriers with her know-how and human touch. “HR is there to help people, not scold them.” Her mission is to change people’s outlook to make the HR department a place known for respectful discussions and collaborative efforts, with the aim of solving problems and helping colleagues and employees.

Sandra enjoys the diversity of her days, where the unexpected is always on the schedule. But above all, the interactions with people and the injection of humor into the day are central to her enjoyment of work, and as she sees it, to that of all employees at GCM: “Collaboration, respect, mutual support, that’s the work environment here. That’s why I’ve been working here for so long, this alignment with my values.”

Recognition of individual skills is also a key element for Sandra. GCM gives employees the space they need to grow. “Whoever you are in the organization, your ideas are not only listened to but encouraged, and if you want to grow, you can advance quickly. I’ve experienced it myself. It’s a rare and valuable quality in the industry.”

Human resources is not a separate department from engineering at GCM, it’s an integral part of the system. Sandra is at the heart of this system, armed with a stream of ideas for constant improvement. “It’s important to assert yourself, to say what you think. I have different, useful skills and knowledge. You have to trust yourself, and here, that authenticity is sought after and leads to innovative solutions.”
